Wakeboarding

Wakeboarding is the perfect compliment to the other watersports in Sardinia.  It's best when there's no wind so makes a great option on light wind days.  Thankfully there aren't too many of them so we generally get the boat out in the mornings while we wait for the wind to pick up or in the evenings before sunset to build up an appetite for the apertivo.

The board skills for wakeboarding are virtually identical to those required for kitesurfing so getting comfortable getting up behind the boat is the ideal preparation for learning the kite waterstart.  Once you're up and running the turns and jumps you learn wakeboarding will crossover smoothly when it's a kite providing the pull.  FreshTraxxx have a great wake boat which whilst not as hardcore as the infamous X-Crafts works better in the open sea and provides a nice mellow wake which will take you up to a good standard.  Our custom fitted Monster Tower allows the rope to be attached to a high point on the boat which makes it easier to get out of the water both for beginners getting started and for intermediates jumping the wake.

For the old school amongst you we also have a set of waterskis (with a drop monoski setup) and a rubber ringo which never fails to get a few laughs!

Wakeboarding is available for clients staying in our accommodation for either €80 for a full hour or €20 per person including boat, fuel, driver, instruction and equipment.
