The Dirtraxxx chalet is a two-storey chalet five minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix on the southern side of the valley. The chalet has a relaxed atmosphere all year round with large living room bar area serving as central hub for most goings on. We have a fully secure garage for storing and maintaining bikes.
Behind the chalet is an L-shaped area of decking on two different levels with a BBQ and hammock, here you can usually find a scattering of sun baked guests and dusty bikes.
Food
Days start with a continental breakfast to set you up for some serious riding.
Afternoon tea and cake is served once everyone gets back from the days riding, perfect for discussing the days thrills, spills and mechanicals and for planning the next days course of attack.
The usually warm evenings and mountain air often mean BBQs are our preferred method of cooking and your preferred method of eating! The homemade 3 course menu takes in a selection of essential elements of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian and English cooking with all meals being geared to keeping you in good health and high spirits. Plus all meals are served with the obligatory glass or two of wine.
