SEASON : Slush for a month, we all thought summer had arrived and then 4 foot of snow has just fallen. Blessed April showers - we've been saying it for ages - ' in powder we trust ' ! One more week of ( extremely lucky ) winter clients and then it is the end of another crazy season. We spent until Febuary renovating the new flagship chalet, taking days off only for freshies, all possible due to the total proffessionalism of Emma,Craig & Geoff running High Mountain, G, Triff and Andreas in Cosmique, Rich Ben, Dazza and Isabelle in 715 and Jonny & Sonny ( for the 4th and final season in Cham ) - thanks a load guys ! We had more clients than our previous 5 seasons with a lot of familiar faces, all way better organised now due to a new ( and hopefully permanent ) addition to the Fresh Traxxx Team, Giles.

ALBUM : FingerLickin presents Fresh Traxxx - our new and awesome compilation in conjunctian with fingerlickin records – a selection of their funkiest hip-hoppedy-just-can't-stoppedy groovers to make a perfect soundtrack for the slopes. Hand-picked by label founders Justin and Jem (aka SOUL OF MAN) and expertly woven, scratched and rubbed together by A. SKILLZ, it also contains some seriously chunky new mixes from the likes of Fort Knox Five and Mr Skillz himself. We just did a pre-launch tour of VAL D'ISERE & Chamonix, France ( which were both rocking nights ), and Justin went on to do Whistler & Calgary, Canada. BRILLIANT NEWS : Dave Rushton, MD of DirtTraxxx has had a beautiful baby girl, Nia with the now glowing Sarah. Congratulations guys - I am so stoked for you . . . and will be telling Josh to keep his wellies on so we have a Mountain bike guide next summer !

CHALET 715 : We've been searching for this house for 6 years so when we heard about it from Sardinia last summer I was here in 24 hrs to sign. For those cleints that have stayed since then you will see why. We had to wait ( way too long ) for the keys and moved in on Dec 8th with an amazing crew to do a total renovation. Having only 6 weeks from start to finish, we had more than the tax man knows working far more hours than any of us are used to, had loads of fun . . . and to some peoples surprise pulled it off ! SARDINIA : Soon as this new snow melts we are heading down to Porto Pollo for what should be another 6 months of fun in the sun. Our first cleints who arrive on May 1st are 25 Slingshot dealers and sponsored kitesurfers including Mike Smith ( Uk No. 1 ). We just fitted a Monster Tower on our new wakeboard boat so we will have 2 boats on the water all summer and way bigger tricks being landed, Easyjet now land in Olbia ( from Gatwick - get your flights now ) so no more car sick clients on the transfers, and the windsurf school has a new cocktail bar and load of kit.

TRAGIC NEWS : Tim Boaz, a first time seasonaire, super nice guy and friend of lots of us since rocking up at High Mountain Lodge last November, fell through a snowbridge hiding a 30 meter cravasse on the Valley Blanche and died. He went with 4 friends in un-suitable conditions and without a professional High Mountain guide . . . the reason I say this is so you understand why we insist all our clients use our qualified guides for high mountain stuff, none of you out there try and do otherwise ( unless competent & equipped ) . . . and another life not lost.
